This was made known in a statement by Mr Femi Adesina, special adviser to the president on media and publicity.

Reacting to the update, Actor Cum Politician, Yul Edochie implored the president to speak to Nigerians from his heart as opposed to reading a speech.
He wrote;
“Dear President @MBuhari drop paper.
Don’t read speech today.
Speak to Nigerians from your heart.”
